Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. Acquired by Crain Communications Inc -- Company Expands Its Media Holdings

DETROIT. November 3, 2008 -- Crain Communications Inc today announced the acquisition of privately-held Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc., the premier provider of research and analysis covering the contingent workforce.

Staffing Industry Analysts becomes a wholly owned property of Crain Communications and will maintain its presence in Los Altos, Calif. It will retain its employees and management with the exception of current chairman, Peter Yessne. Ron Mester will continue to lead the organization.
